Herald International – A Faithful Herald Worker In Sri Lanka Now Home With The Lord

    The Herald ministry is privileged to share spiritual encouragement to brothers and sisters in Christ in Sri Lanka through both English and Sinhalese editions of Herald of His Coming.

    One dear brother who served faithfully for many years as a Herald representative in Sri Lanka, and who helped with the distribution of the English Heralds, was Frank Dias Abeyesinghe.  We received word in August from his son Felix that Brother Abeyesinghe was in declining health, and then in September that he “went to be with his Creator.”  While we are saddened by the loss of this brother, we rejoice that he finished his life and service well, and is now at home with the Lord. Please join us in thanking the Lord for Brother Abeyesinghe’s life and dedication to ministry, and pray for the Lord’s comfort for his family as they grieve his loss.

    In regard to the ongoing work there, thank the Lord with us that Felix has agreed to carry on the work his father was doing. Like his father, Felix has a deep heart for the Lord and for the people of Sri Lanka.  One of his desires is that “many more souls will be saved in the beautiful island.”  He is also eager to see the Lord increase the number of English Herald readers in Sri Lanka.
